Egyptisk kamomillte

The sweetness hits right away but settles into something incredibly round and soothing, not at all bitter like other chamomiles I've tried. I keep a jar on my desk now and reach for it mid-afternoon whenever I need a calm reset.

I brew this every night about an hour before bed and the scent alone slows me down. The leaves are so fine and fluffy that they unfurl almost instantly, giving a sweet, honey-like calm that lasts through the whole cup.

The first thing I noticed was how round and smooth the cup feels—no sharp edges to the flavor, just that soft, sweet calm it promises. I brewed a pot mid-afternoon and it genuinely slowed my whole afternoon down, sip after sip. This is my new go-to for a quiet break.
