The first steep is so delicate and smooth, with that light golden liquor and a gentle grassy sweetness I wasn't expecting. It's clear why it's only picked for a few days a year—the leaves are tiny, downy buds that just melt on the tongue.

The brew came out a beautiful light golden color, just as described, with a delicate, clean taste that felt incredibly gentle on the palate. This is hands-down the best silver needle I've had in years, and that short harvest window really shows in the quality.
