The dry leaves have that classic silvery down and they’re so delicate you can see the tiny buds. First steep came out a pale, soft gold and tasted like gentle sweetness with none of the bitterness I get from other whites. This is the kind of tea that makes you slow down.
I brewed a pot for Sunday afternoon and that light golden liquor was exactly what I needed—so calming. The fact it's only picked a few days each year in Fujian makes every cup feel a little special, and it's worth it.
