Sencha-te

Steeped a cup this morning and the grassy aroma filled the whole kitchen—so lively and fresh. The deep steaming makes it smooth yet bright, and the leaves hold up for a second brew just as well. Exactly what I hoped for from an organic loose leaf.

The deep steaming really shows—this one has that thick, savory body that lighter greens lack, yet it still finishes clean and grassy. I've been reaching for it every afternoon since the bag arrived.

I brewed this up this morning and the bright, grassy aroma filled the whole kitchen, which was exactly what I needed. The leaves really hold their flavor even with a slightly longer steep, so I don't have to time it perfectly. A solid daily cup that tastes like real green tea should.
